Established in 2024, The Kern County Mambas  bring you Kern County’s first American Basketball Association team!
Bakersfield, Delano, Wasco, Shafter, McFarland, Taft, Arvin and more little big cities come together to form what we call Kern County. The 805-661.
The name ‘Mambas’ was created with the late, great Kobe Bryant in mind. Along with a city full of die hard Laker fans, the idea of excellence, hard work and dedication embodied what Kobe was.
We decided to take the term ‘Mamba Mentality’ to heart. Putting together a professional basketball organization who preaches: Toughness, Accountability, Commitment, Family, and Winning.
Those five terms represents the culture of this Organization.
